Spec me something reliable - £1000 - £1500

You know you regret getting rid of the last one, get another :)

I don't regret selling it, it was just a fantastic car. Driven like it was stolen, didn't cost me anything but routine servicing and tyres, drove it for 30k then sold it for a profit as well - I couldn't have asked for a better car.

Hence the temptation to get another is so appealing :)

Type V isn't that highly specced, just has a 2.3 (iirc) and some "sporty" additions like alu trim instead of wood. Not worth the extra cost IMO

you sure? Never seen a 2.0 one, the type v on its own is pretty rare,

The SE Executive is much more common, the leather and Bose are standard on it, nav is pretty pointless and is on a few execs anyway. As I said, most of the type v stuff is cosmetic so I wouldnt focus on it any more than the others

It's in Middlesex, otherside of London so not too far either.

I'm obviously biased towards Saabs, whats handy is I know their running costs so I can budget for it as well.

Hmm...wonder what the old man is doing tomorrow :D
