Hey there,

I'm trying to think of something in Edinburgh to do with my Mrs.
I live in Edinburgh but have literally run out of unique things to do! haha

Can anyone suggest something that isn't so well known but fun?
Any adventures to be had?

We've done all of the tourist stuff as we have asva cards (free entry to Scottish tourist attractions), most of them rubbish so they are ruled off the list :p

Doesn't have to be city centre, got a car but don't want to drive for ages.
So yea, suggestions?

Thanks guys,

Em

Have you tried taking a wander up Arthur's Seat? On a good day you'll get a marvellous view of the City. If you're into hill walking at all then you should find loads to do round Edinburgh.

Rosslyn Chapel is probably worth a look if you've never been before.

Hillend Ski Slope (or Midlothian Ski Centre if you want to use the correct title) is worth going to at least once. It is, or was, the longest dry ski slope in Europe and at one point was the second longest in the World.

Learn to sail at Port Edgar - maybe not right now as it'll be freezing but it's quite a fun thing to do and not too far away. While you're there you can walk around Queensferry, that'll take up all of 25 minutes...
