need a new tv for the bedroom, budget of about £400.

looking for around 37" to mainly watch sky HD.

currently have a Panasonic TX-P42S20B in one room which is great so along those lines would be great.

thx.

Whats your viewing distance going to be? If it's not too short I would seriously consider one of Panasonics 37" plasmas they may 'only' be 720p but the pictures is stunning as you'd expect and they are hard to beat for the price.

viewing distance would be 3-4 meters, i would also like 1080p tbh.

At that distance you are boarderline for seeing any benefit from 1080p on a 37" screen. If it must be 1080p your stuck with LCD which isn't something I keep up to date with as I'd take the plasma every time! Simple solution a 42" plasma!

i would like a plasma, do they go no smaller than 42", are there any within or close to the budget price?

Panasonic are about the only company who do but the only set available is 720p, it would fall well within budget an was very well recieved on release. I have one as my main TV and can't fault it the picture is excellent with all sorces and I don't sit close enough to really see the extra pixels that 1080p would have given me.

i see that and the 42" are only a little bit more, so tempting!

there are a few different models of panny plasma, s10 s20 g10 x20 etc whats the difference between them all?
