Ok, it's been a while but it sounds like my BeQuiet AIO system has a bit of pump noise - I tried topping up but it keeps coming back, so I'm thinking of takng the opportunity to do an upgrade.

My current system/specs are here: https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/family-and-heat-friendly-matx-build.18774056/

I'm considering a pump/res combo and CPU block initially, with enough overhead to add the GPU in if a block comes on offer - there's no need right now as temps are very good as-is.

I'd like an Aura-compatible RGB res and block but there's not too much space on the window side of the case as you can see here (the rad is now the other way up), so it may have to go in the PSU side unless it fits along the bottom. If it's not going to be visible then no need for RGB for the res:

So, recommendations please. I'm hoping to use the BeQuiet rad as it fits nicely with a little room for a GPU upgrade as and when and has screw fittings.

You can't really go wrong with EKWB. If you're keeping the rad, you'll need a CPU block and pump/res combo. Fans and fittings as well of course. I'd suggest soft tubing, far easier.

Not sure what rad they've used exactly... you could probably do better, but no harm done if you can re-use that. Rads aren't that expensive though, and if you're fussy about aesthetics, you may want a matching one as and when you expand your loop in the future. A single 240 isn't really idea for a CPU+GPU loop, although it's do-able... you just won't have optimal temps or the quietest system.

Yes, pretty much how I planned it.

As mentioned, the GPU cooling isn't really essential at this stage. It's silent during normal use and even when gaming doesn;t really intrude too much. I may even sell the 1080 when some better RTX cards come along. Theres room in ther case for a 120mm if I do go WC for the GPU
