No idea as I've only recently started. Current bike is a giant talon 2 but on rough terrain its painful on the rear if you know what I mean.

I guess it would be XC with 100mm+ travel, i see a majority are around the 120mm mark.

You've probably just missed all of the 2010 reductions so the best value for money option would be one of the Boardman range.

Defo going for the KHS XC604, just have to wait for the main distributers to get stock now, they are expecting some at the end of the month
