Spec My a Sound Card - NOT CREATIVE X-FI !!!
As the title suggests have had MASSIVE problems getting my x-fi gamer to work on my current set-up:
Q6600
Abit Pro
4Gb Ram
8000 GTX
2 x 74gb Raptors (Raid 0)
1 x 36gb Raptor
2 x 250Gb Raptors (Raid 0)
1 x 250Gb Raptor
I have tried everything possible and have now given up on trying to get this piece of JUNK working, I have tried old drivers, new drivers, pie in the sky drivers etc. Are these card able to be returned due to incompatability?
If not I will list it on the bay and get a replacement, can you guys recommend a card that i will notice a difference in. The only thing i use my PC for is games. I have a 7.1 speaker system, but also have a set of headphones, what is the best card for me? price is not really a factor, but no point in spending loads if the performance benefit is small.
