So where do I fit into that? :p Am I a padawan or something? :D

Yes, its effectively a better board for cheaper, its like clothing, you can get a pair of jeans from say Tesco that will take a ton of abuse for a fiver, or you can get a pair of jeans from CAT that will take a similar amount of abuse but cost £50.

I've sorted everything now apart from the graphics card. I'm considering buying the HIS because it is the cheapest by far so I was wondering why and what your thoughts are on this. Also I saw that the foxconn only has 2 usb 3.0s where as the asus 1 I previously chose had 4. Is this the reason in price as well as the brand name? And finally what is a usb 2.0 as it says they have 12 of them?!

HIS is a decent brand. They all are.

In 80% of cases with graphics cards you're paying for the graphics sticker on them :p

It's one reason for price difference, but really you aren't going to be using USB 3.0 for a fair while.

USB 2.0 is the old generation (yet still most used by a mile) of USB. So your mouse and probs your keyboard (unless its a PS2 connector) are USB 2.0 - the 2.0 just denotes its speed and generation.

Foxconn,

Back Panel I/O Ports:
6 x USB 2.0 ports
2 x USB 3.0 ports

Internal I/O Connectors:
3 x USB 2.0 connectors support additional 6 ports

The final two extras I need to decide on are which Windows 7 version to get and a network card. Can somebody explain them and recommend some please :)
