Maybe you can help Indigo.
I bought a 85 price frame (elliott) on sat with refraction lenses and i payed £69 after benefits were took off. Should i have been offered the 2 for 1 as i did want 2 for 1 but the women dealing with me never said sir you can have another pair of glasses for free in the same price range or below. I know it wouldnt be free per say if i had 2 pairs with refractive lenses but a spare normal set would have been nice and the refractive lenses for every day use.
Im planing on askin about it when i pick my new glasses up on thursday. But im interested in where i stand if i can get them to do me a free pair because i have payed the minimum of 69 pounds which should entitle me to the 2 for 1 offer.
Do you mean the reaction lenses which change colour?
If so then you would have been entitled to the 2 for 1 offer as much as anyone else. It does work slightly differently if you had an NHS voucher though.
If you have one pair we have unlimited choice so you get 1 pair for
£25 - Free
£45 - Free
£69 - £10
£85 - £20
£99 - £30
£125 - £40
£169 - £60.
This price includes your voucher value being deducted from the frame and we discount it more as a special offer.
You can't combine the offers though unfortunately so if you wanted 2 pairs instead and 1 of them as reactions then you'd be paying:
£85 for the frames
£49 for reaction (in pair only)
£134 in total.
- Your NHS Voucher Value.
Your NHS voucher value (assuming you have a small prescription) is going to be £36.20 so you'd be paying £97.80 in total which would only be £28.80 extra on top of what you've already paid.
When you collect them just ask about it and they should be more than happy to give you a second pair from the same price range (upto £85) for £28.80.
If not then just quote the "no quibble no fuss" policy that we have.

Any more questions, feel free to ask.
