speed kills? not in the Isle of Man

link to a local article about a stretch of no speed limit road which was "made safer" after having the worst accdent record for the Island.

This follows a Department of Transport declaration last autumn that no accidents on the road had been caused by inappropriate speed since it reopened in May."

I have to admit its now a pretty fast corner

It has no speed limit except during TT and MGP periods, when temporary speed limits are brought in because of the extra volume of traffic.

plus there i a great layby at the end of the straight where you can clock people in the temp 60mph zone and pull at least half a dozen cars (more bikes) over at once. Its like a little conveyor belt of tourists handing over £60 a time.
