Speedlink Medusa 5.1 with xbox 360.

Just got a new monitor and it obviously doesn't have speakers, bought the VGA cable and Mass Effect looks immense

I don't really know what the connections are, the headphones have one of those funny jacks with 9 pins in, with a 3.5mm adapter connected to the pc, the VGA lead has the red and white wires, with a small adapter to turn them into one connection.

The head phones have a small amp box with a cable that has 6 red and white connectors and a red, green blue output (and another set of wires with the opposite)

Sorry if this isn't very clear but I'm a complete numpty when it comes to sound.

You need 5.1 'outs' to plug them in. I have the home version of the medusas. (Comes with the Amplifier box). The three plugs you need are the yellow, black and green. These correspond to Yellow: Sub and Middle speaker; Black: Rear left and right; Green: Front left and right. I dont know what the connections are on the xbox.

Messed about a bit, it doesn't say which order the green/red/blue wires are supposed to go in. Entered them one way and got a really weird clicking noise, swapped the outer two around and it seems fine.

Awesome quality sound, much better than they give from my pc.
