speedy delivery to America

I just thought I'd share this.....

I had to send a coat back to America because it was too big. It was picked up at 16:30 on wed (30/01), i checked the tracking number on thursday (31/01)and it said it was delivered at 12:20 :eek: That seems very quick to me, Barnsley to Salt Lake City in a day!! If only city link were as quick ;) I used parcels2go who sent it with fedex.
 
Barnsley to SLC what a lucky coat.

I didnt many barnsley folk came round these parts. I thought I was the only one :)
 
its a well travelled coat! salt lake city to my friends in newyork (to ahem.. avoid import duty) then to my house, then back direct to salt lake city.
I don't live in barnsley, I live near chesterfield but I work in barnsley, well wombwell really.
 
Moer than likely that time is the time it took to get to the international port in the UK. I have sent and received stuff internationall and sometimes they dont track it in the other country and you'll only get information basically saying that it has reached the end of it destintation in the country it has originated.

Best bet would be to either call them up and ask or call the company and ask.
 
lol... you can't be the only one.....

its not done my carbon footprint any good especially as the next size down is on its way back... it does seem like a lot of hassle doesn't it, I blame this forum as I saw it in a "spec me a coat thread" and you can't buy them in the uk

I thought it seemed too quick, I spoke to them via msn, they asked for the tracking number, they checked, said it looked good and refunded my money, so even if it hadn't got there I got my money! I got a refund due to me ordering another smaller one to speed things up
