Spider fight

I made the mistake of sleeping with my windows open and woke up to three spiders on my wall.

Now I'm sitting here minding my own business when i look up and the biggest one just swung Tarzan style across my wall and ahnilated the other one. And hes just pulled his catch up to the corner. i assume hes gonna devour him!

Anyway, i didn't think spiders ate each other? do they? or reckon they where just scrapping?

looked cool. tried to get pictures but my phone cant focus on the spiders on the wall

I think spiders eat each other all the time to be fair.

spider eat anything dude.including other spiders!

i used to have one in my garage called Rupert that i fed little chunks of spam to!

Not only are spiders cannibalistic; they'd even eat their own mother!

seriously... thats what they do, the mother looks after her eggs then the hatchlings devour their mother :eek:

When I see a spider, I put them outside straight away. Reminds me of the time I couldn't catch one and when I was asleep I felt it on my face... **** myself.

I once evicted a spider from my grandma's garage, we were cleaning the garage out and the spider wouldn't have been safe. I put it down on a bush and it leapt about 6 inches onto a fly that was sitting there. I was forced to conclude that spiders rock.

I don't like spiders either mate,

i wasnt very clear. these ones are pretty damn small

any bigger and they would be looong gone. or i would.

If i see a spider in my room, on the wall or ceiling, i make sure it stays there. Its a bit wider and longer and flatter, but hey, at least its not moving.

I throw swatted flys into my spiders webs in the bog

I am running arund 2-3 spiders in my bog usually & enjoy watching the predatory way they feed.
Those that don't like spiders probably shouldn't know that there is on average around 10k spiders within 1 mile square of you

No Sauce for that info, true or not it's as cool as ****

So what's happened to the 3rd spider now?

I get spider shows too occasionally; a spider lives on top of the window that I face when on the PC, and every so often I see it swiftly swing down, where something has been caught on its web

Well just got out of the shower and the third one is gone :confused:

the first one hasn't moved so i can only assume hes hiding somewhere.. hopefully not in my bed!

the second one has gone, assume the first one has eaten him

this bigger one looks like a right tough guy, gonna go find more spiders for him to eat

*update*

forced 2 more little spiders right next to / on top of him, hes not interested

found this lil one with like 2 stripes on it. looks cool but its absolutely tiny

When we lived in Australia, my sister kept two spiders, one big fighting like spider, and one small venomus one.... the big one ate the small one and died from being poisened inside :x
