Evening,

Im looking to give my case and monitor stand a new look, I want to spray paint them black. My monitor stand and case are both grey, is there anything i really need to do in order to to this other than just spraying all over it?

Dont mean to sound stupid but never done anything like this before

many thanks

If they are already pre painted then you will probably be able to just spray over the top.
Preparation will be key, removal/masking of all holes/anything you do not want sprayed. De grease the painted surfaces. Suggest you look up on interwebz lots of people post example, or have been some here from memory of painting projects.

If you have never sprayed before you will want to practise first, its a bit of an art tbh.

Watch what your thinking of spraying, the more glossy and certain colours will show imperfections more than matt and some colours. (Eg think matt magnolia paint hides a multitude of sins, compared to say a darkish colour sheen paint). The standard finish may look horrible sprayed another colour...
