Mark Hamill, Malcolm McDowell, and Biff from back to the future....... Chris Roberts was really the only game developer who had the skill to fully incorporate FMV into games without it feeling like a cheesy, low quality, gimmicky addin. I still play the old Wing Commander games and there just as enjoyable now as they were back in the 90's.
About time there were some new space games, the space sim genre has been devoid a of genuinely good game for over 10 years. X is good but most people just put up with it because there's no alternative, hopefully Chris can give this old PC game stable genre a new lease of life.
I played it WC on my Amiga 1200 as well but it was a fantastic and gripping game but I wouldn't say it was that addictive. Elite was addictive because the slower pace of the game meant you had to play it for longer to be able to afford the power-ups for your craft, in WC you got to try out a new vessel after 3-4 missions (or try them out in the training simulator).

The original Wing Commander on the Amiga was one of the most addictive games I ever played. Looking forward to this.![]()
