I had new front brake pads and disc fitted on my car about a month ago. But my brakes still make a squealing noise under braking. Does anyone know how to fix/get rid of this?
Thanks in advance guy :)

I had a similar problem, but the brakes would only sqeal when pulling away :( anyway i took it back to the garage, and they put copper grease (could be something else) on the back of the pads, and the brakes are now fine. :)

Go back and ask the garage to check them if your worried.

The garage should have used copper grese on the back casing of the pads where they sit in the caliper to lube the pad. If this isn't done it can have the breaks squeal under braking, so it may be it hasn't been done, or done well.

I am not worried. The brakes works fine, had to do a emergency stop when someone pulled out in front of me with uot probs . Just the noise is a bit irritating.
Thanks for the tips & suggestions guys :)
