Hi,
I currently have a MSI GE73VR 7RE Raider.
I have a 128GB SSD i use for running windows and other small bits and 1TB HD for everything else.
I'm looking to upgrade my HD to a SSD. I know there is a 3rd SSD slot on my build but unsure what type of SSD config I could run.
Do I ditch the 1TB HD and replace it or do I utilise the 3rd slot with a SSD? Also unsure what type of SSD do I need like a M.2?

Any help would be appreciated.

I would probably look to replace the slow spinner with a 2.5" Crucial MX500 or Samsung EVO.

I just recently used a SATA to USB3 cable to clone a HDD over to a new SSD to upgrade a friend's laptop.
Used the free version of Macrium Reflect 7, it worked like a charm.
Took about 45mins to clone, then I just swapped them around. Sorted.
