PP's a bit over on the first one for me, though it'd probably look good as a B&W.

Second one's very nice, though! I am very jealous of you being out there - it's something that definitely appeals to me. Damn my decision to change research tack

The first one reminds me of an old painting my grandad had

The second one is very strange. I'm assuming the vignetting is an effect you've chosen PP (seems the same as the one in Lightroom), but it pulls the eye right to the centre and I find myself looking at something way off in the distance, ignoring everything else, which bugs me
