I do find it crazy how people will spend hundreds on upgrades for their engine, suspension and exhaust but will skimp on the essential brake pas and tyres.
They are two of the most important items on a car in terms of safety and performance in my opinion. I buy Toyo T1R's for my car because I've tried lots of different tyres and found these to be the best all round. When I compete / race in my car I eventually treated myself to some R888's. The tyres were singly the biggest difference I made to my car in upgrades after doing everything else to the car.

I'm expecting maybe 12-15k from the fronts, more from the rears (which looked new when I got the car)
