staffordshire bull terrier, why?

Know a Fair few people with them including family and none of them are even slightly aggressive

I don't really 'get on' with dogs either

Holy thread resurrection
Really should bring back dog licenses with part of obtaining said licence being to show an understanding of raising and caring for a dog

All breeds can make good family pets but some are better than others in certain situations

Was always wary with our Akitas never to leave them with a member of the family and a stranger heard many stories of Akitas putting themselves between strangers and their family and being overly protective especially with kids. Again it all boils down to knowing your dog and being aware of the traits they have certain breeds are known to nip when excited collies are prone to this but in regards to staffs any ice come across away from the ones used as status symbols have been fantastic friendly animals

Really should bring back dog licenses

Still got them here in Northern Ireland. It's done nothing for reducing dog attacks or dangerous dog occurances. It's like any other law / license. The people who don't care will ignore it or won't bother. It's a change in sentencing laws (making them harsher) that would really make a difference. Hit 'em where it hurts as they say. In the wallet. And if they fail to pay the fine, substantial jail terms.

I miss my staffy Axel, lost him in June due my idiot ex letting him out of the gate and he was hit by a car. My youngest son 3 still asks when he will come back breaks my heart he just cant understand, he was one my kids just smaller and hairier than the others and an utter clown/gent combined.

A picture I did for my oldest son to print.
