Hey all,

we have a double heighted hallway with the stairs wrapping round to a landing upstairs, we are having the lights moved to dangle in the dead space of the double height.

we are thinking of something like this...the 250cm version so 28 heads.

thoughts are welcome and also improvements on choice.

We had a similar dilemma with our staircase and settled (well the Mrs' first choice) was this

Nice? yes, practical? No. Expensive? Eye wateringly so

We left it and spent money elsewhere in the house and finally went with a.simple,.single, glass fitting which may be temporary,.bit who knows .....

Two other things - is the ceiling it being fitted too flat or sloped ? It will have a huge bearing on what fittings will.work / fix correctly

Secondly is the ceiling man enough to take the weight? Are you fixing into a joist or.rafter or have a patress fitted? If not be careful you don't being the ceilings and your new.fitting crashing to the ground !!
