Some Advice please.
I've just looked at a customer review on the “Large River” site regarding the Sony KDL37V5500U
Quote: “Setting up Freeview took about 20mins and was simple enough to do without the user manual.
It is best to keep the TV on standby after setting up your Freeview as I found out when I switched the TV off at the mains, and had to set the Freeview up again. Apart from that great buy! Worth every penny!” Unquote
Is this the norm with such TVs? If you switch them off at the mains you have to reset them every time?
I’m looking to buy a new LCD TV in the future and one of the features would be low energy use. If you can’t turn the TV off at the mains this wouldn’t be the one for me.
