Star Trek Bridge Crew

The problem I have with Oculus Home is that if you leave it open, there's hardware activity involved, as you can feel your headset get slightly warm compared to having Home closed.

It might be just easier to add people on Steam - it's the one thing that I pretty much have running constantly, and even if I'm shown as offline, I'll still get a message straight away.

Anyway, same username on Steam for me if anyone wants to add me. If I'm online, feel free to ask me if you want a game of something. And if you look at my profile, don't ask me about Clicker Heroes. I don't talk about that shameful part of my existence...
3300 hours! My god man!

Have added yall (You found the right Devrij, Rocksteddy)

Nice, feel free to add me. Also, I recommend audioshield, robo recall (if available for vive). Both excellent. If you're into Rick and morty then accounting is also for you (free)

Purely for the free games you get (robo recall being one of the most incredible gaming experiences I've ever had), the touch controllers, better optics and lighter headset, the rift is a great choice.

That said, the tidy lighthouses, slightly larger fov, and upcoming knuckle controllers do make the vive a great piece of kit to consider. Plus, I do find the stock foam comfier on the vive (I am awaiting custom foam cushions for the rift which are reportedly much better).

Yeah
I need to run through all the tutorials as there there's no way I could have done any other roles last night. Max stress. Think I added you all to oculus, steam and uplay. If not send me a friends request. Grant666uk on all three.
Captain is intense pressure. My first MP game was as captain and I was bricking it! Engineer is usually slower paced, unless you do that one mission (you other guys know the one I mean ;). Helm is also fairly straightforward

In short, if you've done the mission before, you are best taking a role like engineering where you can just crack on and follow orders (even if you know they are wrong) generally playing captain when you know the mission is hard to do without giving away what's coming.

That said, it can take the pressure off the new players when they are given good orders and they just need to focus on remembering how to carry those orders out.
