Star Wars: 1313 Gameplay- PhysX Title?

I would not be at all surprised if on release day, the new gen of consoles manage to more or less match current PC graphics (for many of the reasons mentioned above)... however within 12 months of a new console release, there'll be a new gen of PC hardware that will then **** all over consoles

this is the main advantage of the PC, it can be upgraded far more often than a console can

when Xbox360 came out, it had a lesser spec graphics card than the top of the range PC card but it pretty much matched PC quality graphics... now however it is Lego graphics in comparison to the latest PC hardware - hardware that isn't even fully being exploited by the current games at 1080p (and I'd love to see a console with AMD 6 series hardware having support for 1600p, yeah right)

Draw calls do not equal "beta grafiks", it means potentially more unique objects in any one scene. A GPU will still get bogged down with everything else it has to do and the draw calls are more of an artist limitation than a rendering one in actual games, it's right there in the explanation.

It certainly does look the part gregster, considering the amount of money/time thrown into my PC since the Xbox arrived, I might just have to think about it myself.

I have a PS3 and A XBOX360 but my PC is my prefered method of gaming (probably because the amount it costs me, I make it prefered)

I agree Andy. I have been or should say did use PCSX2 emulator to play all my old PS2 games on PC. I had been using that since the early days of my 560TI and it played it easily. I wouldn't be surprised if the current cards could easily smash the PS3 and XBOX360 and I would fully expect a short time after the next gen consoles (maybe 2 years) for the top GPU's to be able to handle them.
