why oh why doesnt he just make a new Star wars film, theres more than enough material out there. Stop rehashing the classics and making them worse. I mean FFS i was there in 78 and Han Solo shot first ! No amount of political correct digital CGI jiggery pokery will change that fact.
No film that was not originally filmed in 3D is going to look good in 3D plain and simple.
Star Wars is, and forever will be a trilogy the other... whatever they are... pieces of poo... are at best spin offs and at worst a wart that needs to be frozen in Nitrogen and removed from all memory.

As soon as i hear the music start after the 20th century fox bit, i get chills down my spine.
Wouldnt mind seeing it in 3d mainly for the battles to be seen in 3d, the rest i dont care about tbh. And id only go watch the last 3 episodes as the first 3 arnt epic.
The speeder bike things on the last film might be pretty good in 3d.

But in all honest i wish he made a new space trilogy with the epicness of the last 3 eps. Based from an 80s concept not modern concept. As they really dont make films like they used to.

I will be watching it for the reason that when the originals came out I was not born, when the re-releases came out in the mid 90's I missed them as I was more interested in watching films like twister and men in black.
+1, I was -3 years old when ANH came out, that and the fact that I didn't become a massive Star Wars fanboy until the advent of Xwing vs. Tie Fighter, was a fan of the earlier games, but just missed the screening of the Special Editions sadly.
Indeed, it was great! My claim to gaming fame is that I was technically #1 in the world at 1v1 for a good 6 months
(On Case's Ladder, the only competition at the time), lol. That series of games were truly LA's finest hour with the starwars IP, it's criminal that the space-sim genre died a death, a modern sequel to XvT/XWA would make me spectacularly happy.
