Last night at the world premiere of Warner Bros.' The Good German in Hollywood, ComingSoon.net talked to Beau Bridges who revealed a bit about what is going on with the long running sci-fi series "Stargate."
"They're talking about doing a couple of movies. I haven't actually signed on the dotted line, but there is talk about it," he told us. Bridges plays Major General Hank Landry on "Stargate SG-1."
While he hasn't actually seen a script and doesn't think the season will wrap up leading into the films, he does think the scripts are finished.
"Yes, I think they must be. Yes."
As far as what's coming up on the show, Bridges told us what to expect.
"You've got the dreaded Ori out there still attacking. There's a fun episode where I'm taking a bunch of people up to my mountain cabin for a little r & r and we're stuck out there alone with the col. and he's all upset. It's a good series... I think what sets 'Stargate SG-1' apart from other sci-fi series is the sense of humor. It makes people laugh and that combined with the regular sci-fi normal stuff works."
So there may be a number of movies coming out WOOT!
