Yay new episode tonight, look forward to the 2nd part :) - for those who watch it via the US tonight the UK will overtake the US in airing SG1 - so set your boxes to record.

I know this series isnt as strong as the earlier ones but i do like the Orii and enjoyed the spoof 200th ep, look forward to it :)

It's had a good run though. I think it's broken some records for the longest running sci-fi show. And there'll still be Atlantis.

Both on Sky One HD too.

Well this is an unexpected treat.

Then 24 starts up again on Sky One HD shortly, as well as Nip Tuck and Lost resumes too. All my favourite programmes are back yay!

The SG-1 series has been replaced with a string of feature length movies.

It's about bloody time! I've been waiting since Stargate (1994) for a sequel of some kind

The studio was previously exploring its options for an alternate way to finance and distribute Season Eleven in the U.S. (story), calling Stargate its most important franchise second only to James Bond.
That's quite humble reading for any SG fan.

I find it amazing how successful it has been. It doesn't usually come up in conversation yet so many people seem to watch it.

Atlantis tomorrow, same time. Although what's this about O'neill being rescued? I don't remember him being captured in the last episode.

not only is there 3 direct to dvd movies being planned (that continue on from the first movie, ignoring everything that happend in the SG1 series) but there is also plans for a 3rd series (4th if you could that stupid stargate cartoon series). not sure what they could do for a 3rd series, imo itll either end up being about a earth team (possibly the offworld earth site) thats not SG1, or about the free jaffa.
