Probably because even though it's getting shown on the CW in America it was intended to be a DC universe original.

But it's gonna have to be damn good for me to not think it should have been an adaption of the 90s Starman series instead.

I didn't know about this but I think I will wait and see how it's received. I've enjoyed some the hero series but most are rubbish or quite quickly become it. Still, I enjoyed the JSA episodes on Smallville so something to keep an eye on.

just quick heads up, episode 1 and 2 watch from DCU service will be longer than the version of 1 and 2 that will air on "the cw" as "the cw" episode have a strict 42 minute running time. so when this come to the uk chance are version of 1 and 2 will be the 42 min version.

Well Season 2 is up and running. Looking forward to see how they're going to have Jade, Alan Scott's (The Green lantern) daughter fit in. That fight at the end was pretty decent.
