Okay, ive had enough, these damn popups are starting to **** me rite off now!! Its been well over a week and they randomly appear when you least expect, hense 5 mins ago, started watching an online vid, one posted on this forum earlier today, and as it started, this popup poppppped up!!

So i click my browser and it carries on staying in my view of the vid!!! so i have to close the popup to see past it.

Veeeeeeeery annoying!

These popups are popular apparantly they are 'CiD' popups!!!

How the hell do you get rid of them?!

Would be grateful of helpful information on how to get rid of this irritating annoyance!

Its not opera that causes the popups, its IE, im on opera all the time, and randomly that pops up, i dont even have IE open!!!!

And i have firefox installed, does nothing..
 
I dont go on sites... crap and expensive.

Spybot and adware aint working... not picking it up, dont like 20 scans with both software...
 
If it's still there I usually just do a fresh install, the time you've wasted with scanning, cleaning etc you'd have done the fresh install. You also can't be sure it's got everything as spyware can put on trojan viruses...which can be dormant. I spent several hours with one machine and it was still infected.
 
Ha, i know that feeling, my mate opened an email years ago, boom, hd had to be thrown away. and messed up the circuits so the psu followed the hd..

i think i have got rid, i had CiD manager o summin stalled, some website said to check, didnt know i had, its spyware whicj installs itself through other programs... stupid.

anyway, when i restart the lappy ill soon find out if its sorted out or not.
