Starting to think there maybe UFO not from Earth after all..

Hey jbod
I wouldn't bother posting stuff like that on here, the majority of ocuk gd members will laugh you off the forum as they seem to know what alien life is non existent, believe me I know
Nice find tho, I also have seen some conferences with very high ranking officials and people in power suggest stuff regarding et and ufos. Mind blowing stuff to those who believe.

Remember folks the government, the military and the press lie 100% of the time aside from when they say something you agree with then they're 100% trustworthy.

There are loads of official cases all documented that have military ground and air visual conformation and radar returns.

Anyone who spends time reading the government documents and statments will be in no doubt of the reality of the phenomena.

May I suggest this book for anyone who is any doubt: http://www.amazon.co.uk/UFOs-Generals-Pilots-Government-Officials/dp/0307716848/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1298569053&sr=8-2

There is plenty of proof that UFO's are 100% real there is just no proof of what they are.

Considering what he said made sense in some form, I doubt it. We do apply our own logic and emotions to scenarios, and its very possible that alien thinking and motivation is just that... alien.

I was more concerned about the 'superior beings' bit. It is a massive assumption to think that aliens will be human equivalents with spaceships, emotions etc etc. If humans do find existence of Alien life (which we undoubtedly will one day) there is a far greater change of it being a single celled organism or bacteria than anything even remotely evolved.

the big problem I have is people always deem them "superior" then go on to say how they'd all be peaceful etc.

they may be just as ****ed up as we are just been around longer.

We're hardly any more superior than Victorians, just had longer to make new tech.

I just can't see that.
If an alien race has developed super intelligence to build machines that can skip across the Universe they have got to have feelings for any race they come across.
I just can't see the scenarios of Independance Day, Skyline or War Of The Worlds happening.
I suppose V is a possibility - aliens with an hidden agenda.

Anyway, since I don't believe that aliens have ever been here or even that there could be other intelligent life out there it makes the point a bit mute.

I so want to believe.

Of course you can't see it, you are applying your own logic in exactly the way previously described.

This is also true. There is no reason not to believe that any (potential) visiting aliens are untold thousands of years ahead of our own... they could just have evolved in a place where access to different metals, energies, and even laws of physics are so radically different to ours has meant that their development has not suffered the same restrictions, or maybe where we hit a brick wall and suffered dark ages, they innovated and made continual breakthroughs.

Think about it: Mankind has been intelligent for thousands of years, yet held back simply by our somewhat backward tribal society and warlike nature, constantly putting our resources into competing against each-other. Other races may have gaines intelligence and conscious thought, and instead staying warlike and primitive for thousands of years, made discoveries that allowed them to mature at a much faster rate. Or they may just have been of much superior intelligence to begin with, even when their society was in a primitive state.

I think it's almost certain that there are other intelligent beings out there. The universe is so mind-bogglingly big that even if the chances of intelligent life evolving were fractions of a percent that would still equal a LOT!

As for them visiting us, that's more of a stretch.....but still possible. I've always been 50/50 on the issue because I think it's foolish to sway completely one way or the other.
