Steak dilemma

I left my steak in the fridge at work over the weekend and it expired on the 3rd of November...Shall I risk it for a chocolate biscuit?

Spent 10+ years working with meat. All dates on the packaging are crap. You have another week if not more if unopened.

Steak will be absolutely fine for another week after the sell by date if it's been in a fridge and not in contact with rancid air.

That's brave unless it was frozen. Should have taken it out of the bag first. Tastes better.

I just ate 3 day old steak. Tasted and looked fine. Stuck some spicy sauce on it just in case.
