I picked up FTL before it was on offer cos I'd been talked into it and I had absolutely sod all to play on my mums laptop ><

I ended up spending around 70 quid as well, got lots of games off my wish-list and now have a huge backlog to get through. Will not be buying many games for a while. :D

Ive not brought a multiplayer game in the sale, im thinking of maybe getting

Natural selection 2

Or

Chivalry

Both seem unique, are they any good? After something addictive that keeps me coming back

Only bought 1 game in entire sale and that was for the giveaway thread. The prices weren't as tempting after seeing them for the 100th time except for the sleeping dogs pricing mistake./

Anyone tried Ace of Spades? It's £3.49 currently and looks like a cross between Minecraft and Team Fortress 2.

It's a great concept, but the fps side of it is bloody god awful. Granted bad fps gameplay can be made much better by being supported by the lego mechanics of Minecraft etc. so in theory it's great, but in the actual games that you play, you'll never be building anything as there is no time or point IMO so it just boils down to being a bad fps game.

Decided to pick up The Witcher 2 since i want it on Steam. Don't think I played it when it was the "Enhanced Edition" anyway and I still have an alternate play through to complete :)

Well What was the damage everyone?

I picked up the following:

  • RAGE
  • Sleeping Dogs
  • Torchlight II
  • Civilizations V Gods and Kings
  • Spec Ops The Line
  • Skyrim - Dawnguard

Think It cost me in total £22 ish give or take

Not a bad haul though I'm thinking of picking up darksiders 2 at some stage, anyone know its going cheaper anywhere else?
