Lo all,

Im thinking of getting Fallen Earth, looks good and the cheapest ive found is on steam, ive never bought anything on steam. How straight forward is it?

Also with it being an mmo, how is steam with keeping them updated etc.

Fallen earth currently only has US servers, how much of an issue is that nowadays? IE for lag etc?

Anyway, hope to here something soon, so if i get teh green light from you wonderful people i can get the game :)

Laters all :)

Buying through Steam is easy , just enter your details , payment is taken then the game is yours !

Once you've bought it it should show up in the "My Games" list and it will also show the downloading status. Then once it's all downloaded and updated as well just like any other steam game , which also has it's status shown in the "My Games" list , I assume you can play :p

Not sure about billing through Steam with an MMO , I've never done it myself so I can't comment whether it's billed directly to Fallen Earth , or Steam.

There's a Fallen Earth thread somewhere within PC Games , I'll try and find it for you :)

Edit : Oh and if you ever have to reformat your PC , or get a new one , you can re-download all your games from Steam again for free.

And here's the Fallen Earth thread http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18053234 :)

What Insanity said. Whenever you format, just stick all the games back on download before you go to bed and everything will be installed and ready to play the time you get up. It's the only way I buy my games now. Granted, it's usually more expensive than buying hard copies, but the convenience makes it totally worth it. If a game comes out and is not available to buy through Steam, I don't bother at all.
