Steam Games With Hardware DRM!

I'm running out of activations for my retail DCS Black Shark game, hopefully if I just email them they'll reset it or something.

Could people please list which steam games with hardware DRM are best to avoid.

I know of one Test Drive Unlimited 2 with securom which i've heard is just horrible to have on your system.

I've bought a few games off gamersgate with securom before i found out, thankfully they were really cheap, i just don't want securom on my PC, solidshield that EA use i've read isnt as bad and gets deleted when you uninstall game.

Is this an X-Files thing! Securom did something to my PC call Fox and Mulder!!

While I don't know for sure if it's a DRM problem for me it wound me up none the less...

I bought Saints Row The Third on steam and after downloading and installing it, it would without fail crash after the first loading screen. I took to google and tried all the "solutions" people were suggesting. None worked. I had also tried re-downloading the game which didn't work either.

So after a few weeks I tried to get it to work again, still no luck, so I acquired a DRM free .exe and replaced the original. Funnily enough it worked first time.

It really ****** me off that I BUY a game and the DRM causes problems, yet pirates have none off this. It makes it worse that on the developers forums there a quite a lot of people who have the same problem yet hardly anyone gets a reply and for the ones who do it's the generic list that's already floating around on the internet!

Pirates are always going to be able to remove the DRM so put it there in the first place? Seems like a great way to punish your customers and a massive waste of money for themselves.

Rant over :)
