Steam Summer Sale 2011

So remember people if todays deals are just a round of best sellers. Any games you wanted that didnt come on sale snap them up before they go back to full price ! :D
 
havent brought a single thing yet :p will look today see whats available been pretty weak sales tbh :( expected better like at chrimbo or like.

Check out some of the trailers.

It's a really big, open-ended world where you can fight and trade your way through. There is a campaign story, but that only makes up a small part of the game.

It's got an incredibly steep learning curve, but is insanely addictive once you get the hang of it.
 
Do the tickets you spend actually get removed from the total amount of times you get entered from the prize draw? I redeemed 2 of the prizes yet the jar still has the original amount of tickets in it and says I'm still entered 17 times although I have 11 tickets left at the top?
 
DNF is a pile of poo.

Xmas sale might be worth it if it's £5-10 but it was hyped to goodness & a real let down.

I honestly think Serious Sam is a better buy. Less crude & funny but by far the better game(s)

All tickets earned remain in the drawing, separate of spending them on the little prizes. So spend as many as!

I've earned 16 so far, and have spent 12, but all 16 stay in the drawing.

im going to say if you buy this it will make you cry how bad it is. they should pay you for playing it it is that bad :p

try the demo on steam . worth a pound less than a pound :p
 
I want Portal 1 & 2 yet I still feel 22 quid is a lot for now.. But the Valve pack contains both and is only 24 or something?
So makes it seem more worth it even though paying more.

Is the Valve pack worth it or are most of the games quite dated now? Its so cheaaaap!! :O

and a Portal 2 question.. Co-op seems great, but is it only online Co-op because I live with my lady and we love co-op games and enjoyed trying the Portal demo together although not co-op.

Valve pack is definately worth 24.99 if you don't already have maybe have of the games.
 
David you cant go wrong witht he Valve pack its amazing value.

As for the co op question, Do you mean you both play on different computers within your house ? If so you would be able to co op. Please explain the situation more :)
