Depends whether you like F1. I enjoy it, but there are a number of issues with it that were never really fixed.

This post summed it up well, although some of the cons are out of date and were fixed.

I loved the game, but some issues people reported are/were

1. there was no DX11 support at launch. (dirt2 had already been out and pimped dx11 pretty nicely)
2. there is a bug with the pit lane where you sometimes don't get released from the pits. (so you don't come out in traffic or something not sure)
3. AI not pitting as they should or oberying tire rules (at least 1 set of hard and 1 set of soft in a dry race)
4. your not really racing the other cars on the track, thier "lap times" don't coincide to where they are on the track, or the final race results.
5. unlike other racing games out there (Dirt, Grid, Race 07, Shift, Forza, GT5), this is just f1 cars on just the 2010 tracks (this is to be expected of coarse)
6. tire wear and blow-outs happened to freaquently if enabled
7. with a racing wheel, legendary difficulty is too easy. (once you master the game, but that could be said about anygame really)
8. theres not really any point gameplay wise to the press interviews after the races, and theres only a handfull of questions and responces
9. it doesn't have the weekly online competitions that dirt2 had, i always thought that was fun.
10. no pace car, this i didn't care about but wow some people were po'ed

that being said, i really enjoyed this, and all the other codemasters racing games, and i'm now a huge F1 fan, been watching since singapore last year.

some good things are

1. the ego graphics engine codemasters has is visually stunning, and has been running very well since dirt 1 in 07.
2. the career mode is fun to play through as your learning the handling of the car and the coarses.
3. It's F1!!
4. With a wheel, the cars handle great and its very satisfing hitting all the apex's and getting a good time.
5. It's a racing game, you either like them or don't, but i bet you do.
6. here's a video i made last september before i bought a wheel
7. playing through i learned all the corners and all the tracks. 8. when i watch F1 now i feel like i have more of a connection with the drivers, and have more of an emotional stake in the races, like i never want to see any of them crash.
9. great time trial mode to improve lap times by downloading ghosts slightly faster then you to see thier brake points
10. I don't know its just a fun game if you like F1, or the other codemasters racing games.

Well in the end i bought a steam CD key for The Witcher 2 for £18.75 from the auction site :)



Though Downloading when the sales are on is pointless :mad:
