Steam Summer Sale 2011

"Dumbass'":D

I've noticed something strange with mine, I've only got GTA4 listed, but when I go to GTA4 Complete Version on the Steam store, it says I've already got the complete version, and won't let me buy the expansions.

Would purchasing as a gift to your own email and clicking the link in the email not work?

Prince of persia... any of them worth buying? What's the gameplay like?

Have you never player Prince of Persia before , get Sands of Time at the very least, its the best one. Warrior Within and Two Thrones were ok, Forgotten Sands was much better but not without faults.
Stay well away from the cell shaded Prince of Persia game it is dog ****.

Gameplay is like linear Assassins Creed but better story better acrobatics better controls better fighting.

That's what i did, just picked up Sands of Time as it was the highest rated. Never playeda Prince of Persia game before.

Didn't get the set as i have spent too much already (though i imagine not as much as most tbh)

Probably only spent around £25 in these sales

Any views on the contents of the SFI Summer pack?

Problem I've got is there is a lot of filler, I already own Flatout UC and Port Royale 2, and despite the discount £36 seems a lot to play for what on the face of it are mostly old or mediocre titles. Then again maybe you guys can highlight some gems in there that I've overlooked?

No idea who they were till I noticed a few games, namely Jagged Alliance 2 which is a game I played in my youth but was awful at until I finally 'got' it in the last few years.. one of my fave games ever! Truly good, still has a community and mods to improve upon it :)

Just spent 14.99 on Portal 2 and it seemed like a fortune but I cant wait another six months for it to drop to a tenner or less..

£15 isn't much really for a full game that came out 3 months ago. I think you've become spoilt :p

Saying that I'm refusing to buy Assassins Creed Brotherhood for £15 as well :D

OMG, Good thinking Steam, have limited servers and launch a kick ass sale. Dumbass'

If anyone is a dumbass' (whatever that means) it's probably you.

Busiest day ever and Steam still keeps going at a reasonable speed where a lot of systems would have crumbled. Spending millions on extra servers and bandwidth just to stop some person called "Ballz" on an internet forum somewhere calling you a dumbass is not a sound business decision.

Portal 2 for 14.99 is a Bargin imo I paid the full amount when it got released and even at that price I do not regret it. Such a good game.

The Assassins Creed you can get the pack for 16.99 which is a good deal, I bought that as I didnt have AS 1 or 2 on the PC.
