Steam Summer Sale - What did you buy?

Almost everything I bought I already owned since new just bought cheap for the archival copy & to play again now naturally ;)

Fallout 3 GOTY £3.74 (already own all content since original release bought again as so cheap & easier than having to download again or backup from gfwm)

Dear Esther £1.74 (never owned worth £1.74 but not really a game just supporting the devs a little)

Splinter Cell Conviction £3.74
Splinter Cell Conviction DLC £1.24 (did not own this before you had to buy the game on Steam for it to even work though its tied to that copy only so even though I already own the retail game had to buy again just for the cheap DLC thanks ubisoft for tieing the non DLC version cloud saves to that version so I lost 2 years progress ).

Nothing else interested me or I already owned & did not like the sale price.

space marine
force unleashed 1 and 2

space marine was ok fun for a bit

force unleashed - worse game evarrrrr

the controls are terrible, its not even been ported at all! still full consoled up all round

even for the £5 or whatever it wasnt worth it!

I've managed to kind of (planned on buying nothing!) hold my reins in this sale.

Torchlight
Anomaly: Warzone Earth
Sega Classics: Streets of Rage 2
Assassin's Creed II: Deluxe Edition
Dead Space

For a bit over £12 so little damage done.

Alan Wake Bundle - £7.74
Just Cause 2 - £3.49
Dead Island - £6.79

However just before the sale I bought L.A. Noire Complete Edition for £6.24.

Wow Just realised I've been really restrained, should have bought loads more. Ah well there's still time :p

I was good his year and only stuck to buying games I really wanted.

Bulletstorm - £3.74.
PAYDAY™ The Heist - £2.80 (deal done in the MM).
Anomaly: Warzone Earth £2.24.
Dear Esther £1.74.
Trine 2 - £2.99.

£13.51 total. :)

Alan Wake was the only other game I was undecided about, but looking at the amount of games I already had before the sale which I have not played, it can wait another 6 months. Gutted I missed Vessel though.

Crusader Kings 2 + DLC £7.49 + £8.79
Gal Civ 2 £6.49
Alan Wake £7.74
Bastion £2.86
Witcher 2 £11.99
Splinter Cell Conviction £3.24
Civ 3 £0.74
Skirmish DLC for Men Of War Assault Squad £3.98
Some DLC for Europa Universalis £1.56
Gary's Mod £1.49

£56.37, Hmmm, they got me I guess, didn't think it was that much. Glad I got Crusader Kings 2, looks to be a terrific game, currently addicted to watching a Let's Play on youtube with 110 eipisodes @ at least half an hour each.

So far I have bought:

Supreme Commander & Forged Alliance
Warhammer Spacemarine
Fallout New Vegas
Company of Heros complete pack
GTA pack
Bulletstorm

I will probably pick up a few other before the sale ends tomorrow.

Nexus - The Jupiter Incident
Company of Heroes
Shogun 2

Plan on buying a few more tonight.

Nexus - The Jupiter Incident

Very good choice :) One of my favourite games I've ever played. Slow burning at times, and the stealth missions are really (stupidly) tough, but still an amazing game.

Everyone else check it out if you haven't heard of it

I'm usually fairly restrained during Steam's sales; even more so this time around...

Bastion
Botanicula
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
Stacking

Came to a few pence short of a tenner.

Went a bit mad this year, bought a few of my faves from the past that I previously bought retail but fancied having in pride of place in my Steam library, also bought quite a few that I'm yet to play so all in all a good sale for me. I'll let you do the maths but I'm in well over the century!
