Steam Summer Sale

Jesus I've now had to enter my activation key into three separate software packages. Steam prompted me with it, I had to then enter it into the autopatcher, then into uPlay after reloading it four times before it found my damn game, and now when I've finally launched in it wants it again! If this is how Ubisoft want to do their games in future, I don't think I'll be buying them anymore. It is rubbish!

I've got problem with steam, I want to buy Fallout NV, but after adding the game to cart and choosing a payment method it won't redirect me to paypal website, and I'm getting this message:
There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance
I bought Tomb Raider this morning with no problems, so I don't know what is going on now.
Steam under heavy traffic???

Problem solved, I've ordered it as a gift and sent it to myself, on my email address. weird...

Im tempted myself, looks a very invovling game though, don't know whether ill have the time for it. :(

watch nerd3 lets play video. its bawciaply what you said.

it loots like one of those games which can be as difficult and time consuming as you want it to be.

So is the weapons pack worth it or does it diminish the experience? Kinda wish I had better weapons early on :p.

Oh, and which of these are worth buying; Lonesome Road, Old World Blues and Gun Runner's. Bought the other two main DLCs when I picked up NV in an earlier sale.

NV is a bit of a bugger at the start, the weapons pack sorts that out really without overpowering you (just a decent weapon for each skill). It certainly makes a few of the earlier scenes easier, Nipton especially if you want to clear the fox out :P

Gun Runners just gives a load of new weapons, mods and ammo, it's handy, but far from essential.

OWB is a good 'quest' DLC, adds a lot of flavour with some excellent dialogue, I'd recommend getting it. LR is great environments, less fun conversations (compared to OWB), but more back story - it's good too, maybe not great though.
