Hi All

Id like to add a momo steering wheel to my car (with airbag) but the hole is a different size and/or different number of splines....

Any way of converting/adapting one to fit?

Any ideas?

There's two parts to an aftermarket steering wheel..the wheel itself and then the "boss" which is basically an adaptor which sits between the wheel and the top end of the steering column.

I take it you've bought a second-hand wheel which used to be fitted to a different car? You need to purchase a boss for your model of car before you can fit it. You'll also need to find out how to deactivate the airbag. From what I've heard it can be a bit risky removing an airbagged wheel unless you know what you're doing as they can go off in your face!

Yep

Its from an Evo 8 and going on a legnum vr4..

The vr4 is the same fitment as an Evo 6.

Airbag isnt an issue... they wire exactly the same.

I might just get rid of this momo wheel and look for an Evo 6 one... but they are pretty rare.. :p
