Hi guys, after being fed up with AMD's apparent ineptitude with drivers, I am thinking of selling the 6950's and either getting 570 Direct CU SLi or a 590.

The one thing is, I run three monitors, and of course love to game across the three :) So I was just wondering how stereo surround works, is it pretty much the same as Eyefinity, except you need two cards to run it? Cheers guys :)

can you now SLI with stero surround?

I bought 2 GTX 465's a while back and flashed them to 470's but they wouldnt work in stereo surround + SLI so went back to my 5870 six.

? SLI is the only way to use stereo surround...

Also don't confuse nVidia Surround (3x displays with normal output) with Stereo Surround which is nVidia 3D Vision Surround.

OK maybe they changed it but make sure your not getting confused with just having 2 cards running independantly vs SLI.

When i set it up i couldnt run SLI with 3 monitors in a equivalent to eyefinity setup. I had to disable SLI and run the card independant of each other. In games this makes one card redundant i believe but uses it to pass through the graphics.

I may be wrong but i have talked to a few people who had the same problem and agree for multiple monitors AMD/ATI is far better.
