Anyone watching the third series of Comedy Vehicle?

Last night's one was brilliant.

Also he seems to occasionally take shots at top gear/richard hammond

apparently stewart lee went to school with hammond and once saved him from bullies by holding the library doors shut... or something along those lines...

Yet again this is taken out of context. The whole routine was mocking the Top Gear "it's just a joke" defence whenever they blithly insult the sallow skinned or lower classes. Problem is the whole routine takes about 20 mins.

Lee is quite simply the best stand up comedian working in Britain today. I always try and see him when he does his Edinburgh shows. Not watched last nights vehicle yet. Have to wait until the nipper goes to bed !

I like Stewart Lee. His humour is very clever and totally acerbic. I don't think there's anyone else doing humour in the same style.

I've been a fan since Fist of Fun, one of my favorite comedians ever. TMWRNJ should have continued....cracking stuff.

Thanks for reminding me of the new series as I had forgotten, loving the 1st episode so far.

I love the way he de-constructs comedy. The episode of Comedy Vehicle where he spends the whole episode tuning a guitar is brilliant.

He's a very Marmite comedian though. I can understand why some people don't like him.

My favourite comedian (by a long way), saw him in Southampton a few months back doing his most recent show.

His "vomiting into the gaping anus of Christ" routine is amazing.

I want to like him. I often *do* like him, and often his comedy rewards patience. But I think I prefer him as a pure social commentator (on the rare occasions he gets called up in that role) rather than a comedian.

This week I rage-deleted my recording of the show during the taxi driver thing. Whatever the payoff there was, for me it wasn't worth the journey.
