STI's?

I don't think STIs have ever been accused of being catchy or glamorous.
This man speaks the truth. There nothing glamorous about what goes on in the "clinic".

You only have to listen to the screams and catch a glimps of the expression on a guys face as he hobbles out the door to know you never want a dose of what he's got.

OP just use a condom. And continue to use one until totally sure you're her only partner.

you know its possible to have an STI and not know, so even is he knows she is not shagging about it does not mean they dont already have an STI

Bet your foreplay is great. *smoochy smooch, oh can you please wee on this stick and I'll have to get some blood before we touch each other, smooch smooch*.

Get down to your local sexual health clinic, they will have a drop-in day. Take a book, as you may have to wait a while. They'll want you to **** in a cup and take some blood. You'll then phone up an automated line a few weeks later and told of the outcome. If you are diseased, you will be able to pick up a prescription from your GP and get treated.

.... you a regular :p

Not in my experience, it's a case of you phoning up, booking an appointment, they run the tests (no pee in a cup if you're a bloke, you get a lovely swab instead), and then inform you of the result about a week later.

To find your local GUM clinic go here

I only go to see you as you never answer my calls, usual time next week aye?

Guess it depends on the clinic. I've never had the swab, always had to pee in a cup and then blood tests.
People should do it as a matter of course, even if you haven't had sex in a while you can still be carrying something as many can be symptomless and it can get triggered and can actually create any number of different diseases.

I went in to the clinic, not knowing about the test procedure. Pretty sure they can't test for all problems through a urine test, hence why the swab is more commonly used. When the doctor pulled a metal cotton bud I knew it wasn't going to end well :o:eek:

Be glad we've given you a heads-up!

I'm glad I had a hot 30+ year old nurse, needless to say I did have a semi.

Yeah, at least the OP knows there are various different ways of being tested now.

I try to go once a year, just to be on the safe side....need to book an appointment actually. :)

Alright for some...I had some old male doctor check me over...it tried to hide instead of say hello. :p

I've had a little visit to the clinic before and it's nothing to worry about. Pee, swab, blood, job done.

Most embarrassing moment was seeing someone I knew walk into the waiting room.
