Or in between the pages of a book or whatever, but yeah lamination with a drop of water in there works as well

Leaves will rot, I suggest you kill them with

By memory if you use a flower press they woll stay pretty well intact, and might even keep their colour.

Biology experiment, but dunno where to put them for 2 days unused

I kept some really pretty autumn leaves between 2 sheets of kitchen roll and then put this 'sandwich' inside a big heavy book. The leaves kept their colour and shape and are now perfect, dry leaves.
