I am currently running my AMD 64 (Venice) 3200+ @ 260x10 @ 1.45v and is very stable. However I have a rather unusual problem where if I set the HTT multiplier to 4x (which is what I want) and boot up windows it will show 1040mhz but when I reset the computer and then boot back into windows it shows only 780mhz? I beleive this is only 3x HTT?
What's even stranger is when I go back into the BIOS, it's still set as 4x? Anybody ever encountered this problem?

Cheers,
Mark

Yep, all the options are manually set, ive got the cpu multi set to 10x, ldt multi set at 4x. If i change the bios settings to default, save, reboot, then change the setting manually it works fine the first time but once i reboot it downclocks to 780mhz without me touching anything? :s

Thanks for the fast reply. :) The bios is at the latest version, which i beleive for this board is 1014. Im at a loss on what it could be, anyway whatever is causing it is really irritating me. :(

Are you using the nvidia softare to measure that as mine was always reported wrong when i had an asus board. Also the ht makes neglible difference so id use 3x. My board is always set at 3x - something that was recomended by the guys at xs

Using latest version of everest. :(
It seems to force to 780mhz once the CPU is overclocked. However if the cpu is running at stock and the LDT multi is set to auto it stays on 1000mhz. :s

Any idea what the minimum frequency HTT is required before there starts to be a performance hit? I just can't help thinking that 780mhz is way too low. :(
