Strange Bank Transaction

Just been checking my bank statement online and noticed a weird transaction for exactly £1.00 to something called KAYS?! Im not a member of any catalogue or anything like that and thats the only 'KAYS' i can think of.

Even though its just 1 pound do you think i should ring my bank and ask what exactly it is? Just a bit worried that it might be someone probing my account ready to take something big out of it.

Ideas or suggestions anyone?

Better off caling your bank, sounds like someones got access and is testing the waters with small purchases to see if it works, same thing happened to me. :mad:

Any money taken from your account without your authorisation is a breach, I'd be right on the bank. What if next time its 10, or 100, or 1000!

A few of my mates have had this happen to them recently. When the fraudster gets your card details they firstly use them to buy something small. Usually £1 or less. Then, once they know the card works they go for big things.

Around here the petrol stations are the biggest suspects. Most people are actually withdrawing cash from the bank and using that to buy petrol.
