Good morning 360 fans!!!!

I have my 360 connected to my wireless network, and on my PC I have TVersity running. The 360 resolves and IP address from the router, connects to Xbox Live etc etc.

But when it comes to detecting computers on the network with sharing ability it just completly and utterly fails.

I've confirmed I can connect to the TVersity server via my spare laptop, i've even disabled media sharing in WMP 11. But still nothing, that's after restarting the 360 and TVersity server several times!

Anyone got any advice?

You have to run WMP11 and then turn on Media Sharing. Make sure your 360 appears in the dialog after enabling it.

Also make youre the PC does not run using Active Directory as the XBOX will not connect to it.

Forgot to mention, doing it the other way round i.e. turning off TVersity and enabling sharing in WMP11 (and yes I can see the xbox in the allow dialogue box, even if it does appear that I can see two of them!?!?!?) also doesn't work.

And nope no active directory (not that I know what that is)

I suffer exactly the same thing, my PC can see the 360 when enabling the media sharing in WMP11 but the 360 cannot see the PC but can access live fine. IMO its the wireless router as my PDA cant access the internet via the wifi either, stupid really.
