Quite possibly a stupid question, but I have my main desktop in a room on the other side of the house from my living room. Is there some kind of wizardry that will let me play my steam library/mame on my living room TV?

Living room TV is a very old plasma, but I do have an xbox x and a (loud) PC attached to it.

I found this performance to be sub par for Rocket League. Over gigabit LAN.

I have too, all depends on the game you are playing. Fast paced = no chance of being good.

I am very fussy though.
I can use wired, but I also want to be able to access my Mame library.

Could you install games onto a drive in that PC too? I have AC Valhalla installed on two PC's but connected to my own Ubisoft account. Works fine as long as only one PC is signed into the Ubisoft client at a time so it should be the same with Steam.
