FChamp doesn't say a great deal of interest/intelligent things in my opinion but he had an interview recently on CC Live where he talked about this 'decline' Daigo is on. He was saying when Daigo first started coming over to the states (this is in regards to SFIV) he knew an awful lot about the game that the Americans and other countries didn't. He said it wasn't until the last 2 years or so that America even started working with option selects and counter hit setups etc etc and he just thinks that everybody is starting to catch up to Daigo on raw game knowledge and that's what is happening to him.
I think he's right, I've heard commentators several times mention that top US players (Justin Wong for example) didn't start using option selects until fairly recently because after trips abroad or whatever they noticed pretty much everybody had them and it's the same thing with counter hit set ups. I know I seen a leap in my game especially when I started using counter hit setups, option selects aswell I only put 1 to frequent use but I definitely need to look at more.
Hyv's interpretation of how Tokido and Infiltration play is spot on, I also find Tokido to be a much more safe Akuma who relies on the vortex to do damage where as Infiltration is much more aggressive. I don't know why people keep sleeping on him at majors (including myself) because historically he's done very well for himself, he actually played Daigo at SCR 2011 I believe and kept that pretty competitive despite Daigo using Yun which was 1 of Akuma's worst matchups back then.
Guys don't forget Tokido also plays a slew of other games and does well for himself at them, to my knowledge Infiltration only plays AE2012 and SFxT. Tokido goes to tournaments and places highly at SCV, KoF XIII, UMvC3, ST and AE2012..that's the only the ones I pay attention to he might play more like Blazblue or whatever not sure. He does play an insane amount of games though, I think that might be affecting his play as of late because he's been working hard on KoF XIII.
