Stressed after confrontation

Before anyone says "you should smash his face in" or anything of those sorts....he's a 6'3" ex army chap who is considerably larger than me and quite obviously has serious anger issues.

Your best bet is staying calm and laughing at him rather than putting the phone down next time, get him to come to your house and have a go, if you don't want to fight him tell the police and hopefully they will get to your house before he does :p

WTF!!!!!! Where's hurfdurf gone? Who are you?!

1. Place phone next to your face like you normally would.
2. Grab your cheek with your other hand.
3. Pull and push your cheek rapidly until it starts to make a noise.
4. They wont bother you again because it sounds like your masturbating.

Thats what you'd expect any half decent parent to do.

If i caught my lad doing that i'd come down on him like a ton of bricks. Is it to much to expect kids to have decent parents like us anymore ?
A half decent parent, yes.

Crucially, however, it was obvious from the outset that the kid doesn't have half decent parents. If he did, he wouldn't be harassing another kid's parents' with prank phone calls... ;)

Invite him round, before he arrives smack your head with a brick or something, as he arrives get him to hold the brick, call the police and tell them he tried to kill you :p

when i was 15 one of the lads on the estate whacked himself in the face with a brick just so he could get his cousins to beat someone up lol

If you don't want to rise above it (which you really should), press charges. Threatening to assault someone is (AFAIK) assault itself under English law.

Assault is indeed the threat to apply force.

OP: You have the mobile number. Call BT and get them to block calls from that number, or call the network operator and tell them that one of their subscribers is making nuisance calls.

He probably beats his wife to get his manly rocks off.

I knew a lass a few years back whos ex-army type dad regularly beat up her mum.

So if you really want to get back at him, investigate for the possibility of domestic abuse.

An angry agressive man beats his wife, therefore all angry aggressive men beat their wives.

Dayloon, I'm 18 and I'll say...

Keep calm bro, people will get you down but rise up against it. I hope you forget it soon *internet man-hug*. I felt your frustration.

Just in case anyone thought it would be weird for a middle aged guy saying any of the above.

I'm just gobsmacked the police actually followed it up and gave him a talking to!

Anyway, as others have said, just forget it. The guy is obviously a bit of a nut-job and you did nothing wrong. I worked in customer service for a few years and had many a complete nutter go off on me like that. First time it bothered me a lot.........after a while I learned to shrug it off. Some people have issues - it's their problem, not yours.
