Well after nearly two months of fiddling to try and get this thing stable, I finally appear to have it working! yeah!!!:)

Only downside is that this is at stock, with my nice Reaper X PC2-8000 ram running as PC2-6400. :(
Any move to change the speed in the BIOS results in horrid BSODs, most notable code 50: page fault in non paged area. Attempts at manually setting the mem & NB voltages, as well as the correct timings don't help either.

Therefore it appears as though I have to have the memory working in "sync" mode with my FSB which means 666 in my case (1333/2). I've been prime stable for 9 hours on this.

Why is it the case that I can't up the mem speed, and change the multi of the cpu without resulting in BS's? (yes, I do remember to up the VCore/NB/Mem voltages).
It seems strange to me!

Another thing that has got me puzzled is that fact that Core Temp reports that one core (out of my 4), is around 8C lower that the other three averaged. Why is this??
Core 0: 31C
Core 1: 24C
Core 2: 33C
Core 3: 31C

Sometimes it's Core 2 that's lower, other it's 1, as in the example above. Is this my cpu playing up? I only manage to score 4,377 CPU 3DMark06 marks at stock with my QX9650, and I have read in reviews that they get around 5k+ at stock. I don't know whether this is my mobo, or my cpu?? what do you guys think?

Cheers,
